Bryon Wilson
Pottery
I have been a part-time potter since the eighties, attending evening and part-time classes at various further education institutes in London. My main interest is natural organic forms and their stylised design and form is ceramics is very much influenced by the Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements.
A combination of hand building, throwing and press moulds are used for most of the pots. Most of the work is decorated with underglazes and fired at earthenware temperatures - 1050 to 1100 degrees centigrade.
